Rotating File A-0007
A-0007 – is our shortest file. Among its most common uses, we can include sharp edge removal in tight areas and following crack lines. It is ideal for grinding inside pipes and things like 45-degree angles on pipes and corners. It can also be used for removing welds and while essentially not a weld seam removal specific tool, it can remove such in a very precise and fast manner. Its uses stretch from corrosion removal and all the way up to bolt removal / bolt cutting. These rotating file can be used in conjunction with our straight grinder model FG-2XV-50 or our angle die grinder model FCD-6X-51. This rotating file can only be used together with either of the mentioned tools as it is part of a System that has been Classified as COLD WORK and CERTIFIED for use in Explosive Environments by DNV. While some of our tools include optional accessories to add water they do not require them to be Certified, they are simply used to increase the lifetime of the file and in some cases for Operator peace of mind. For either tool the cooling cap A-0062 will work.
